A friend from Crossfit came over today to feel the pain of my kettlebell workouts. He’s in great shape – Crossfit WOD’s get you ready for anything, but different is different.
When I go to his workouts I get humbled by what I see there. The crossfitters are doing some amazing things AND having fun doing it. I have to get there more often…
What I noticed though was the difference in form. He used less leg and I used more. This proves my point – people get good at what they do. I swing the kettlebell – So I’m good at it.
He wasn’t bad but a little change in technique and he would will be really good and much more explosive.
This cause me to think.
I better get to Crossfit so I can do things that I’m not so good at.
Different is different and different can be good!
