Another Holiday has Passed!

I had a Great Holiday, full of family, friends and a lot of work. Work work, not workout work.

Stepped on the scale and it showed a number that I’ve never seen before. 199 pounds. That’s a lot of weight for me, and it’s not even good weight. It’s cookies, cokes and alcohol, a brutal combination.

But the Holiday is over. It’s time to get back to work, that is workout work.

Why beat yourself up over your enjoyment of the Holidays. I take this as a great opportunity to get back in the groove and feel good again. The contrast can be very rewarding.

Here’s my plan:

  • Consistant workouts
  • Strength 2 days a week
  • Conditioning 3-4 days a week
  • Lots of Body Weight
  • Lots of Kettlebells
  • Increrase mobility
  • More dynamic warm ups
  • Loose 12 pounds of Fat

Today’s work –

5 Minutes Joint Mobility – Head to Toe

2 Round Kettlebell & Body Weight Warm Up

  • 10 Swings
  • 10 Push Ups
  • 10 Sumo Deadlift High Pull
  • 10 Squats
  • 10 Cleans
  • 10 Presses
  • 10 Snatches
  • 10 V-sits

Workout – AMRAP in 25:00 of:

  • 7/7 One Arm Swings
  • 7 Push Ups
  • 7/7 Cleans
  • 7/7 Racked Squats
  • 7/7 Military Press
  • 7/7 Jump Backs
  • 7/7 Rows
  • 7 V-Sits

Go as heavy as you can!
