Fight Gone Heavy

Crossfit Champions is getting us ready for The  Annual “Fight Gone Bad” Charity Fundraiser Workout they are participating in September. It’s a great event and if you want the official web site here it is – www.fgb5.org

In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating. The workout is in the 3 round format. The stations are:

Heavy –

Goblet Squat 24 Kg

Olympic Cleans 135 lbs

Box jumps

Push Press 2 – 24 Kg’s

1 Arm Swings – ( I only count this as 10-12 reps, I don’t have a rower!)

Count your Reps:

Mine 187.

Didn’t know how much I should push it. It was more of a strength challenge than an endurance challenge. The cleans were tough at first but as I did more they got easier? I think I used better form near the end.
